Need Help with Plant Classification

I am in the middle of a database project and need a good authoratative
reference for plant classification. I mostly need a vascular plant
reference. If this came in the form of a downloadable reference it
would be ideal, but a book reference would do nicely. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
