Hedge Apples (Osage Oranges)

This  is sort of artsy, but someone at work told me to slice them thin,
dry them and use them for Christmas tree ornaments. You have to punch the
hole when they're still moist. The e natural pattern is very y nice. You
shellac it, varnish it, clear decoupage it, or pat a little gold rubbing
powder on it.
