sites of botanical interest on Fuertaventura, Canary Islands

I am planning a short trip to Fuertaventura, Canary Islands for 
mid-December. Does anyone know any good botanical sites for the unusual 
flora of this island. I particularly would like to see Euphorbia 
handiensis and Caralluma species etc.

Also if anyone knows of good/cheap hotels, BB's, pensiones etc in any of 
these areas.
