A QUESTION ON TENNYSON AND ROSES

I found a passage attributed to Tennyson (I presume Alfred Lord Tennyson);
"...the queen rose and her garden of roses...". The author that used the
passage did not recall where she got it from and I have not come acrossed it by
scanning several abridged volumes of Tennysons works. I am interested in how
the rose is used in this context. Is anyone familiar with the phrase and its
source?
    Thanks in advance, Dave Duncan---drdunc1 at ccmail.monsanto.com
