Root spread of Minayure Conifers

I have ben asked by a client whether the roots of some of the smaller 
Junipers, i.e Juniperus communis Hibernica, and some of the prostrate 
varieties could eventually cause any damage to the foundations of their 
house. The plan is to plant to small Hibernica within 1 metre of the 
foundations, fronted by another cultivar such as Seaspray. I think it 
unlikely myself but would welcome any comments.
