plant cuttings help?

It is almost impossible not to root impatiens cut of 2 to 3 inch shoots 
strip the leaves of the bottom third and stand in watter up to just below 
the lower remaining leaves. My record is for roots to start to appear in 
about three days. When roots well established pot up in a loam free 
compost and keep watered and in as much sun as possible. Oh and remember 
they will be killed by the frost so keep them indoors (assuming you are 
not in somewhere like California). Ray Warner
