It depends on how you define this. Thiamine is not a salt, but a vitamin
and thus is considered an organic compound. There are several different
MS recipies. MSMO (Murashige and Skoog, Minimal Organics) has 0.0004 g/L
Thiamine in it. MS basal salts has none. The MS basal medium as used in
the 1962 reference has 0.0001 g/L. MS with Gamborg's vitamins has 0.01
g/L. Sigma prints a helpful catalogue which lists all the components in a
table for the different recipies.
