Lectureship, Biological Oceanography


Applications are invited for appointment to a Lectureship in Biological
Oceanography in the Department of Botany.  The Lectureship is funded as
part of a University Initiatives Fund programme to develop and promote
Marine Science at the University of Western Australia.  The successful
applicant will be expected to form an active research group, supervise
postgraduate students and contribute to undergraduate teaching programmes.

Applicants must have doctoral qualifications in Marine Science, with
specialist expertise in the area of biological oceanography.  The
successful applicant will complement existing expertise in benthic primary
producers, especially seagrasses.  The appointment is for 2 years in the
first instance.
