The Kern Valley Festival: A Celebration of the Bioregions will be held in
Kernville and Weldon, California on April 27-28 1996. This is the only
place north of Mexico where 5 bioregions come together: Great Basin
Desert, Mojave Desert, Central Valley Grassland/Riparian, Sierran Province
and Chaparral! Activities include hikes, workshops, nature art show,
