pH of soils

 We are students at Mt. Shasta High School and we are doing a project on
the pH of soils and its affects on plant germination.  We need to find the
taxanomical rank of vegetables specifically the lettuce, radish, and
carrot.  The only parts we have not been able to find are the class and
order for these three.  If you could help us it would be greatly
appreciated.
