Plants, prions and organophosphates

Dear friends,
I am exploring an idea that prion type proteins can be induced in
fodder plants by organophosphate pesticide and so could be contributing
to the problems of BSE and JCD we are having.
This is only at the idea stage at present so any comments positive,
negative or whatever would be welcome. Any references to similar work
would also be welcome.
