The easiest to use and most effective here is a black net material which is pulled over the roof and fastened. It is called shade cloth and comes in densities from 30% to 80% shade. It lasts for years and can be custom tailored for your greenhouse. You can also buy the material and make your own. We use it on 2 and have had it for 12 years so far. Pat in Oregon
