benjamin ficus/weeping fig

this ficus is known for premature leaf drop when over watered in the 
interior situation.  it will tolerate dry conditions, try watering once 
per week or less, only when wilt displays. after you learn your plants 
needs you can prolong waterings, yet still avoid wilting.

in the landscape site, south fl, overwatering often leads to root rot, 
Fusarium may be the most common? symptoms are twig dieback.
