Plan now if you want to join us next summer in contributing to Yosemite's
ecological integrity. Volunteers are needed for non native plant
eradication in Yosemite National Park. The season for this specific work
is generally late June through early September. Volunteers are provided
free access to Yosemite for the time that they are working and free shared
camping space. Some of the work is in Yosemite Valley; most of the work
is outside of Yosemite Valley (Foresta, Glacier Point region, Mono Meadows
region, Hodgdon Meadow, etc.). Participants must be in very good
physical condition. Participants for outside of Yosemite Valley must be
experienced cross country hikers (day hiking only, no backpacking). If
you are interested, plan now to join us next summer...and email to
gstigall at aol.com for more information.
