Avocado tree question

Hello.  I'm not sure if I'm asking in the right newsgroup, but here goes...
I have an avocado tree that is doing very well except for one problem. 
Some of the leaves are curling.  They're not turning brown or falling off,
but some of them are curling up rather tightly.  I've tried watering it
more and I've tried watering it less.  Any ideas?  Thanks!
