Hi,
A student working on an independent project at our high school has
asked my help in preparing some acid solutions. She wants to test the
affect of pH on photosynthesis using pH values of 6, 4, and 2 and fresh
water aquatic plants. I can help her set up to measure the change in
gas pressure in a closed system but I am not sure what to advise her to
use to prepare the buffered solutions to put the plants in. Can you help
me with an idea for the recipe?
