You should soak them in liquid seaweed, Maxicrop, solution for only a few
hours. The older recommendation to soak legume seeds has been changed. now
one is told to not soak, or if soaking, keep the time to just a few
minutes.

THEN you should, for sure, inoculate seeds before planting. You can get
inoculant from some seed companies, such as Gurneys or Park.
