Stress related genes in plants

I am currently working on a project attempting to relate homologue gene 
sequences of higher plants with those of lower plants.
The stress in question is water stress(experimentally mimicked by ABA).
If anybody has any info regarding developments in this area I would greatly 
appreciate it.
