Well I think that first, you need to understand that Guatemalensis
(notice the spelling) is a very common specific epithet. Being an
epithet (the second half of the scientific name) it doesn't tell you
much. You need the first part (the genus) in order to find out anything
about the plant. It could also be a varietal or cultivar name but these
are all adjectives in the latin that scientific names are published in
and you need to find that noun (the genus) so that you can get some more
info. A picture might help to ID it.
