Hi! How do the Orobanche seeds germinate? Do they start to grow like a normal plant and then the seedlings start to parasitize? For example, when there's a plantation of peas there will be Orobanche, certainly. But why do they grow only when there are peas? How do they know? If the field is not cultivated, do they grow, too, and then die? -- Adão Pereira
