An average sleeping human is using 10 liter oxygen per hour.
The same amount of oxygen is used by 40 kg plant fresh-matter. That
would be 40 plants of 1 kg (a little jungle in a bedroom).
If a bedroom of 40 cubic meter would be hermetically closed, the oxygen
concentration would drop in 8 hours from 20.9% to 20.7%. In terms of
breathing this is nearly nothing.
I think if one has some plants in a normally ventilated bedroom, there
are no problems concerning the oxygen concentration.
(If someone cares about oxygen, it would be more helpful to sleep
without a woman (or a man) than to sleep without plants;-))
