Gene Splicing

   I am retired and a simple gardner but I
have a dream of trying to harnness the 
potential of the Jeruselum Artichoke.  If
it could be Mutated somehow to produce
patato tubers underground and Sunflower
seeds on top it could produce 3 times as
much per acre as any thing else.  would 
like to discuss this with a Genetics Grad
student or a Professor to see if possible.
