There are several species of Passiflora, including one native to the
Southern U.S. which is called (colloquially) 'maypops'. 
The fruiting Passiflora grenadilla (also called Grenadille) is 
strictly tropical.  Check out Hudson Seedsman or most any tropical
seed catalogue (look in the back of Horticulture magazine). It's 
fairly common
