It's pretty fierce stuff.  In the USA, methyl bromide is sold mixed with 
chloropicrin (tear gas) to make sure nobody will stick around close 
enough to die from it.  That's a pretty good guarantee that nobody will 
ever breathe the stuff unkowingly.
