are encouraged to apply.

Position #2: PLANT DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGIST

Applications are encouraged from individuals whose work falls under the
broad rubric of plant developmental biology.

close ties with DuPont scientists. They will also be able to sponsor
graduate students through a new initiative in which students will
interact with both DuPont scientists and University of Delaware faculty
members and have the option of doing thesis work either at DuPont or at
the University.

A commitment to advising and teaching undergraduate and graduate
students is important. Specific teaching obligations will be arranged
according to the individuals' backgrounds and university needs.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in plant biology or a related field with
post-doctoral or equivalent experience. The individuals must be able to
communicate effectively with academic, government, and industry
colleagues and with students.

Rank and Salary: Assistant Professor; 9-month appointment; tenure-track
position; salary commensurate with training and experience. The
University provides an excellent, comprehensive benefits package.
