Do you mean the plant's scientific name?

Its Yucca brevifolia Engelmann. It is also found in California, Nevada and
Utah.

Other shrubby to tree-like Yuccas found in the Arizona desert are Yucca
elata Engelmann, Yucca schidigera Roezl ex Ortgies and Yucca schottii
Engelmann.
