need help please,2 questions

i posted a while back concerning a plant purchased at a greenhouse
marked only with the tag "deco palm". i've been able to find out it is
actually a "reed". is there anyone who knows anything about this
beautiful plant? 
also. i need information concerning another plant. it's stem is hot
pink, leaves resemble hearts with hot pink, green, and white. i was told
it is a "chicken liver" plant.  anything?

why do dogs have black lips???
