Bremuda Grass Species?

Here in Arizona we have a rather prolific common lawn grass that we call
"Bremuda Grass".  I am not having much luck finding a species name for this
organism (I am not quite ready to jump into the world of Gramineae taxonomy!). 
Any suggestions or help offered would be greatly appreciated!
