Amaryllis question

Hi all,

    I'm new her but have a question about an particular type of Amaryllis
specifically the Apple Blossom Variety. Mainly I need a history. Mainly
about how it was discovered and by whom as well as any other important
historical info on the plant. It would be a great help if you mail me as
