AW: do plants really follow the sun

Hallo,

in principle every cell should be able to detect the direction of light.
Practically this should be true for leaf tissues (+flowers) and tissues of
the stem. The ability to "follow" the sun should be restricted to actively
growing parts. Leaves and flowers of sunflower plants follow the sun during
its daily course. This is also known as solar tracking. Not every plant (how
many at all?) does this.
