I just bought an evergreen to be kept as a houseplant.
They say that it is susceptible to root rot in heavy soils. Acid soils
are preferred to alkaline. Sandy loams preferred to heavy soils.
What to I need to transplant it to a clay pot? What do I add to the
potting soil to make it drain quick?
Thanks in advance, I quit smoking so I figured it's now safe to bring
some houseplants into the house.
The name of the tree I bought is a Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Elwoodii.
