Help with Calathea plant

Just this Sunday I saw all kinds of snazzy colorful Calathea species at the
reopening of the National Conservatory. The plants were mostly in the large
central greenhouse that stays warm and the soil is moist and gets misted
from automatic sprinklers every half hour or so.
If you duplicate those conditions, your plant should thrive too!!
Keep the soil moist but not wet. Watering it every other day is too much.
You'd do better to mist the leaves instead. Also you should consider this is
the resting season for many of these species.
