I have a braided ficus. It isn't loosing leaves and it has new growth, but the leaves have a visible sticky substance on them. The new growth doesn't contain this sticky residue. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should somehow clean the leaves. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
