POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP IN PLANT SIGNAL TRANSDUCTION
=A315, 159-=A316, 927 p.a.
A postdoctoral position is available in the Plant Molecular Science Group
to work with Dr Gareth I. Jenkins and Dr Marc R. Knight (University of
Oxford) on the signal transduction processes coupling UV-A/blue light
perception to the control of gene expression in Arabidopsis (see Plant Cell
8, 1555-1567). Part of the work will be to measure calcium levels using
aequorin fusions (Plant Cell 8, 489-503). Applicants should be highly
motivated and have experience in molecular biology and/or cell physiology.
The post is funded by the BBSRC, available for 34 months and is to start as
soon as possible.
