Request help on subunit crosslinking

I am trying to ascertain the subunit structure of E. coli exonuclease VII,
which is composed of 52 and 9 kDa subunits in an approximate 1:4 ratio.  I
would like to try glutaraldehyde crosslinking and would appreciate any
feedback on methods, protein concentration, NaBH4 quenching,
troubleshooting, etc.
