DNA-binding protein

Does anybody know a model of drug-induced protein phosphorylation
leading to DNA binding?  That is, cytosolic or nuclear protein
is phosphorylated upon drug treatment and binds to specific site
on DNA as a result.  What is your experience of testing the
possibilities?  Is de novo DNA-binding protein synthesis upon
drug treatment more common than simple protein modification?
