Apologies if this is not what you were looking for, but there is a www
database which lists the 'structural taxonomy' for proteins where 3D
structures are known. It's called scop, and besides searching for and
displaying folds, you can also search by species, and link into the
nentrez database containing sequences and associated references.
The official url for scop is:

http://scop.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/scop/

It is also mirrored at a number of sites now:

For North America:

scop at PDB

http://www.pdb.bnl.gov/scop/

scop at Protein Science

http://www.prosci.uci.edu/scop/

For Japan:

scop at PERI

http://www.peri.co.jp/scop/
