Short-chain synthetic peptides and gamma-sterilization

I am looking for references/researchers dealing specifically with the
effect of gamma radiation sterilization on short chain synthetic
peptides (less than 100 residues).

I have observed that there is a remarkable difference in the changes
(observed by HPLC) affected by g-ster on "free" peptides when compared
to peptides that are adsorbed/absorbed on to minerals (hydroxyapatite
in my case).

Is anyone else working along these lines?
