Receptor/PAGE Artifacts...

G'day folks,

Noticed a thread a few weeks ago concerning the observation of dimers 
(multimers?) of over-expressed receptors when run on PAGE.  Also remember 
several people indicating that the phenomenon is relatively common.  We 
have seen this in our lab as well, with a 7TM over-expressed in insect cells.

Question is this...does anyone know of an example where this observation 
had been discussed/cited in the literature?  Any help appreciated!
