Glycosylated cytoplasmic proteins

Dear Louis, 

one form of glycosylation which has been described for many cytoplasmic 
(and nuclear and other) proteins is a modification by O-GlcNAc. This has 
largely been the work of G. W. Hart and his colleagues - you might have a 
look at his recent review to start off with:
