The Department of Biology at the University of Saskatchewan invites
applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level.
The position will be for a botanist working with lower plants or fungi;
expertise with molecular techniques is desirable.  The candidate will be
expected to participate in teaching a second year survey course dealing
with bacteria, algae and fungi and developing a senior course in their
specialty.  The candidate should hold a PhD and have postdoctoral or
equivalent experience.  This position will be availble January 1, 1997.
