What exactly do you want the software to do? If you want control of
equipment, than you should have gotten something with your maschine. If
you are looking for presentation of results, any lab graphing software
should do. I have good experience with GnuPlot
(http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/gnuplot_info.html), which is free.
