8M urea and 6M Gu-HCl: can they lysis yeast cell wall

Hello ...
I have used both 8M urea and 6M Gu-HCl to lyse E. coli to purify my
protein of interest.  I just started to work with yeast and I was
woundering if I can use them for that purpose also. Are they strong
enough to bust the cell wall open? I would like to avoid SDS in the
lysis buffer; that is why I would like to use them if I can. I thank you
