Western problem

This is a weird one:

Lately when running my SDS-PAGE gels my proteins get stuck at about 1 cm
from the bottom of the gels, they just don't go any further and they pile
up in there; the marker also gets stuck but a little bit of it goes
through.  

Any ideas?
