My Westerns have also suddenly stopped transfering. After Ponceau staining
the filter there seems to be transfer, but when staining the gel there's
plenty left. In my experience its not worth detecting unless transfer is
complete.
What % SDS are you using (if any) in transfer buffer. I think it can help
particularly for larger proteins, as I think this will be the answer to my
problems
