Tricks to eliminate non-specific binding of proteins to amylose resin, any ?

I purified like five different mpb fusie proteins with amylose resin
and it worked well.
Did you try glucose into your bacterie grow medium?? 
To wash i use this buffer (for 100ml)
25 ml 0,2 M KHPO4 pH 7,4
4 ml 5 M Nacl
200 ul 0,5 EDTA pH 8,0
70 ml MQ 
And for the elution a use the excact same but than with 10 mM Maltose.
