Post Doctoral positions are available in the Department of Pathology,
University of Virginia Medical School, to study functions of a novel
family of proteins, NORE1 and RASSF1, involved in Ras signal
transduction and tumor suppression.

Experience in one or more of the following fields is desirable:
immunofluorescent microscopy, confocal microscopy, FRET, flow
cytometry, cell culture and transfection, Western blotting and
immunoprecipitation, protein kinase assays, protein-protein
interactions and using mice as model system. Knowledge of signal
transduction, molecular biology and protein purification methods is a
plus.

Candidates for the postdoctoral position should be motivated to learn
new fields and have the ability to conduct creative, independent
research.

Candidates must be US citizens, US permanent residents or be located
in the USA or Canada.
