[Protein-analysis] Isoelectric Focusing Separation Problems

Ive been having problems with isoelectric focusing recently

Im running mouse liver samples and the problem I keep getting is that
Im getting very poor resolution on the positive side of the strip.  The
negative side has no problems but it is very hard to get good results
that have good resolution throughout the entire pH gradient.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Im running 3-11NL 18cm strips

Any input would be greatly appreciated
