               *Objectives and Eyepieces
Achromat and apochromat objectives and eyepieces are inexpensive and
have a good quality image in the center of the field. Objectives are
calculated for the mechanical tube length of 160 mm, perfocal distance
33 mm and 45 mm, cover glass thickness 0.17 mm. These are plan: 4x,
10x; achromat: 20x,40x,40x water immersion (w) and 100x oil immersion
(oil); apochromat of high numerical aperture: 10x, 20x and 60x (oil),
90x (oil) with iris diaphragm; compensation eyepieces K5x,K15x,K20x
and wide field eyepiece K10x with visible field 18 mm.

                        *Condencers
Three different condenser mounts are available for the LOMO BIOLAM.
Condenser KOH-3 works with the numerical aperture 1,25 (immersion
type), with an iris diaphragm and auxiliary lens of large field.
Aplantic condenser OI-14 (brightfield and oblique illumination) works
with NA 1,4 (immersion) and NA 0,3, with an iris diaphragm. Special
condenser OI-13 (darkfield) works with NA1,2 (immersion).

                          *Filters
Provided with 5 swing-out filter holders: yellow, green, blue, neutral
and ground glass.

                           *Stages
Five type stages are available: planstages 105x130 mm and 105x88 mm
(specimen holder with traversing area 25x80 mm); circular rotatable
stages also for polarized-light microscopy, stages in diam. 122 mm
and KC-1 stages in diam. 126 mm (specimen holder with traversing area
50x80 mm); KC-30 mechanical stage is the most popular stage with Hand
Low drive Controls, plan is 130x170 mm, scanning area is 40x80 mm.

                            *Tubes
Two variants tubes have a viewing angle of 45o: monocular and AY-12
binocular. AY-12: the interpupillary distance 56...74 mm; dioptric
adjusment ring on the left tube (+/- 5 dptr); tube factor 1,1 (1,5).
They can be rotated by 360o and arrested in any position.

                     *Photomicrographic System
Photomicrographic System MFH-11 and MFN-12 offer for the usual formats
from 24x36 mm. MFN-12 has ordinary monocular observation tube with angle
of 20o and dioptric adjustment ring (+/- 5 dptr); photo eyepieces - 7x
and 10x. Light part selector: 60% - photo, 40% - observation. MFN-11
trinocular observation tube: binocular section has angle of 30o, the
interpupillary distance 54....76 mm, and dioptric adjustment ring (+/-
5 dptr); various tube factor 1,1; 1,6; 2,5 compensation eyepieces - K7x.
The 2-step light part selector: 90% - photo and 10% -  observation; 100% -
observation. Videoadapter for videocamera is possible.

                      *Polarizing Filter Set
Consisting of a polarizer and an analyzer, this accessory is useful for
detecting birefringent specimen details.

                         *Illuminators
Three illuminators are available for the LOMO BIOLAM;illumination via
the microscope mirror; OI-32 sub-Stage illuminator is ideal for use with
a model; OI-35 vertical illuminator have the field diaphragm to implement
Koehler illumination for all transmitted light methods (8 V 20 W - tungsten
lamp). A reflected light fluorescence attachment (OI-28) with quarts lamp
(9 V 70 W) have existation range 400-440 nm, of researched fluorescence
500-750 nm and fluorescent objectives L10x, L20x, L30x (w), L90x (oil).

                      *Phase Contrast Attachment
Two condensers are available for positive contrast with NA 0,9 (KFCh) and
negative contrast with NA 1,2 (MFA-2). Both turret condensers are equipped
with ring slits for F10x, F20x, F40x, FA70x(W), FA90x(oil) phase contrast
objectives and an emply aperture diaphragm for brighfield observation. The
MIR-4 is focusing telescope for centration of the phase contrast light rings.

                                *Stands
This microscopes employ the widely accepted new series achromatic objectives
and widefield 10x eyepieces providing d18 mm widefield observation. CS BIMAM
R-11 series microscopes provide Koehler illuminator and CS BIMAM  R-31 series
microscopes built-in source ensures brighter, sharper image observation.
Microscopes Stand have coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs; 6V 20 W halogen
light source built-in transformer variable light control.

                       *Objectives and Eyepieces
New achromat objectives have high contrast and improved image quality over the
field.Objectives are calculated for the mechanical tube length of 160 mm,
perfocal distance 45 mm, cover glass thickness 0.17 mm and 18 mm field of view
quarantee fast reliable diagnosis. These are  4x, 10x, 20x, 25x, 40x, 40x(w)
50x (oil) and with iris diaphragm 100x (oil); widefield eyepiece 10x has visible
field 18 mm and the high eye point.
                        *Condencers
Two different variants condenser mounts are available for the LOMO CS BIMAM.
Condenser  works with the NA 0.9, with an iris diaphragm. It has a highed
condenser top. Second one has lens raster element for high contrast and
illuminate all objecti fields of objectives from 4x.
                           *Stages
Two type stages are available: planstages 120x150 mm and mechanical stage
with right or Left-Hand coaxial controls; plan is 195x77 mm.
                            *Tubes
Two variants tubes have a viewing angle of 30o: monocular and binocular with
interpupillary distance 54...75 mm and dioptric adjusment ring on the left
tube (+/- 5 dptr). All tubes have the factor 1. They can be rotated by 360o
and arrested in any position.

                         FEATURES OF THE MICROSCOPE
  Superimposed top lights are replaced by the lighting system built-in into
basis which increases the relability and shortens the time of lighting adjustment.
  The tweezers for changing objects are replaced by a five-slot revolving device
with centered slots which makes the operation more comfortable and shortens the
time of the microscope adjustment.
  A new condenser has been introduced securing a more comfortable and fast
switching over of the diaphragms and their reliable centering when working with
the "focal screeming" technique.
  The microscope is supplied with set of object lenses-planachromates and compensating
eyepieces which improves the quality of image in the device.
