Illinois State University 

Tenure-track position available beginning August 1998: 

Biological/botanical diversity. We seek a colleague broadly trained in
biological/botanical diversity. Mycology or phycology are among the
specializations that we will consider. Research should complement
faculty groups in cellular/molecular biology, ecology/evolutionary
biology, genetics, physiology, or systematics. Technical experience in
electron microscopy is highly desired. The person hired will
contribute to teaching of biological diversity, plant diversity, and
teach an organismal specialty course. (Joseph E. Armstrong, Chair). 


Extramurally funded research programs, teaching courses at the
graduate and undergraduate levels, and supervision of undergraduate,
M.S., and Ph.D. student research expected. Postdoctoral experience
